Chris Cooper of the Caledonia Lions Club has always had a Pay It Forward” attitude so when he found out that most donations to the Food Bank happen at Easter or Christmas, he decided to organize a food drive to offset shortage times in the spring. Cooper organized a food drive that takes place every year on or around Mother’s Day.

Motorists in serious violation of the speed limit are recorded and a report is given to the Hamilton Police, who in turn may send a cautionary letter or visit the violator.”

Donna Arnold - “On Saturday November 6, 2010 I had the privilege of volunteering with many ArcelorMittal Dofasco handymen and women at the Habitat for Humanity Build Day - Robert Land Project.

I was expecting that my efforts might be well suited for sandwich and coffee making and serving. Not so apparently. The attached photo shows Nancy and I installing a fire wall - one of many new tasks undertaken. I enjoyed my day in work boots and left with several new skills at hand.”
