April in Bloom Dear Friends and Family, Hello Everyone! Thank you all so much for your prayers, love and support! I can not even begin to express how grateful I am to you all. As you are reading this I am cleaning and packing for my next adventure. I leave on Saturday for a trip to Ireland, England and Germany! I will share more about why I am heading off soon, but first I would like to share a word of encouragement. For the past two to three weeks I have been stuck in a Psalm. I mean stuck…every time I reach for my Bible it is the first and sometimes the only thing I read. So feel free to grab your bible, turn on the app or click on the website you read from and come with me…Psalm 103. First word I was struck with was redeems, which actually refers to a kinsman redeemer, and includes a past tense of redeemed what a joy that we serve a God who has not only redeemed us but is also our Kinsman Redeemer! Next was the phrase “so great is His lovingkindness” so great actually means to be strong and mighty to prevail, in conjunction with lovingkindness, that is truly amazing to ponder how the Lord’s kindness shown with love is mighty, strong and will prevail! Just think of a challenging situation you maybe facing, God’s love is strong enough to help you prevail and mighty enough to see you through! I could go on for awhile, please be encouraged that God uses everything and wastes nothing. I am truly grateful that God is weaving together some of the rough spots of my journey to His glory as we speak. And none of this would be possible with you so THANK YOU! Next Steps… The ship ministry adventure with YWAM Townsville is going well. I have been blessed with some finances all ready to cover the first trip down there. To date I have about 30% covered, please be praying for the remaining funds to come in. As I mentioned at the first part of this note, I am heading off soon to Europe. I will be in Ireland to visit with some friends from Ukraine and do some debriefing, England to complete a research project with the Bible, and Germany to explore the potential location of a lab in Europe! Whew…I am excited and overwhelmed thinking about it all! I will be returning towards the first part of May and will be around for about a month prior to my departure for Papa New Guinea and Australia. Prayer Requests… Traveling plans both now and later for Papa New Guinea, finances, and wisdom. I have been doing a tremendous amount of studying to prepare for the research into tuberculosis. I am hoping to discover some specific tools and ways to identify TB and how to better treat it within the villages of Papa New Guinea. Would you be praying for this endeavor? It is hard always have a picture to explain so here are a couple, one of some of the papers I am dissecting and the other one of me on a hike through a volcano! Love, April Donations should be sent to YWAM Tyler, PO Box 3000, Garden Valley, TX 75771 My name can not appear anywhere on the check. Please attach a separate note with my full name on it. Bank draft donations are now possible! Please contact me for further information
