Game Seven Grill is now open on the Gila River Casinos Plaza at Chase Field. Taking the place of Slider's, this BBQ-style restaurant with a family-friendly environment will be open during D-backs home games beginning three hours before first pitch through approximately 1.5 hours after the final out. With a complete overhaul that includes new kitchen equipment, draft beers system, furniture and championship

décor, the 20,000 square-foot restaurant (formerly Sliders) can hold up to 300 patrons. Memorabilia such as game-used jerseys, World Series programs, tickets, game balls and pennants will be on display from Game 7 of the 2001 World Series, in which the D-backs won the only championship in Phoenix's major professional sports history. Got a call from a Pepsi rep that basically told me about the position, requirements and asked if I was still interested. The rep then scheduled me for a face to face interview. The woman I interviewed with was really nice and professional. She first told me about the position, asked me to walk her through my employment history, and then asked me some behavioral questions and the typical interview questions. The interview went really well. When the interview was completed, she told me I should receive an email regarding the next steps. About 5 days later, the Pepsi rep called me and offered me the position. She then scheduled me for a drug test which I had to complete within 48 hours of accepting the offer. I also had to give them permission to run a background check. Got a call yesterday saying everything cleared and I was given a start date. Can’t wait to start! Interview Question –Describe a time you had to handle a situation and you had no prior experience Negotiation Details –No negotiation. I had the opportunity to ask them questions as well. Then they contacted me the next day via email to tell me I was still under consideration. A week and a half later (yesterday), they called and offered me the job. I need to take a drug test on Monday. You have to take the drug test within 48 business hours of accepting the position. At the end of the conversation the lady told me I would get a call back to set up a face to face interview. Did not hear back from them until April. The interview process was short and easy. They were hiring extra help for the summer. I've had an interview for one of these positions and wasn't entirely impressed. The two people that interviewed me were pleasant enough, but they hadn't even looked at my resume beforehand. It was fortunate that I brought some extra with me. Secondly, I was a bit surprised at what was offered: $7.85/hr. on a schedule that could (and would) change from week to week. And then after working there a year, I would be considered to work a full 20 hr. week. On top of that, you are required to buy your own uniform duds (shirt, pants, and shoes...at least for the deli clerk position). The interview consisted mainly of reading through, word for word, questions on a form. Research the "Birthday Cake" question. Anyway, I passed on the position. It's more suited for kids still in school or for retirees looking for a few extra bucks or something to pass the time, not for someone trying to get their life back on track. Front End/Courtesy Clerk at Bashas' No Offer – Interviewed in Mesa Interview Details –I applied for the position online and was called back probably 3 weeks later for an interview that was scheduled for a week later at 3pm. I got there 10 minutes early and after waiting 5 minutes we started the interview. The interviewer was nice he basically read my application and made sure nothing had changed. He left the interview twice for a few minutes a time. I don't believe it was a fair interview for me to explain what i can offer... it seemed to me that they have already hired someone else before the interview. I was very excited to work there. I didn't have much of an interview. At the end of the interview I asked when should I be hearing back from you? He said within the next week. I didn't' even get a call back just an email informing me they had chosen someone who better qualifies for the position. Interview Question –There was no difficult questions really. When I called to follow up, manager had never heard of me. I went to interview 3 days later. Manager never reviewed my application or resume. Hiring based solely on digital portfolio. 3 days later, drug test. 4 weeks later job offer made after I called to follow up. Management went on vacation. The key here centers around following up…The above tells us that the managers are not monitoring the applications online and by calling (or better yet) going over to introduce yourself is the best way to speed up the process (9:00 – 11:00AM The difference here is waiting 3 weeks or longer (MAYBE) to get called or not…or getting an interview time…the sooner or do…the sooner you will get an interview… ==================================================================
