On January 30, 2017, the 49ers named John Lynch the 11th Gen- eral Manager in franchise history. Soon after, the four-time finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame brought with him Vice President of Player Personnel, Adam Peters, and Senior Personnel Executive, Mar- tin Mayhew. Together the three, along with the 49ers scouting and personnel staff, will oversee the direction of San Francisco’s 2017 NFL Draft.
