What is the Women of Okinawa Power Alliance Network?The Women of Okinawa Power Alliance Network is an intergenerational, cross-cultural support
network to promote women’s empowerment and work place diversity in Okinawa.
How is the Network Structured?We will hold five thematic forums this year: Women in Hospitality, Women in Health, Women in Public Service, Women in Business, and Women in Science. At each event, there
will be a diverse panel of experts who will talk on about their own experiences in the workplace
and in the given field. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. Finally – and
most importantly – we will save the majority of time for a “mixer” to give audience member,
panelists, and guests the chance to “network.”
Our first event will be Women in Hospitality on April 28 at Naha City Water Commission
