Our weekly Bible Studies continues @ 5 pm today with pastor Golovenko presenting a Bible Study on Romans 7 & 8. Ever wondered what Paul is talking about “the good I want to do I do not”? Is the law culprit of our wrongdoings? Next Sabbath Bible Study will be an open forum of your questions and brief answers by elders. Come to continue this dialogue about our faith. We welcome your questions and suggestion of topics for study. For more details see the schedule in the foyer. 2. School Constituency meeting TONIGHT @ 7:30 pm. A.C.E.S of London calls all members of three constituent churches to the annual meeting, reporting on school progress, and development plans. This meeting is for all members, donors, parents will take place at 805 Shelborne Street, London (South) Seventh-day Adventist Church. Tomorrow 3. Men’s ministry breakfast TOMORROW, April 28 at 8:30 am. The discussion book is “A Place for us guys.” How do guys, men, fit into church today? What is our place and role in family and society? 4. Tomorrow, April 28 th spring clean-up continues with internal work – cleaning the basement & rooms. All members are welcome to come and assist deacons at work. 5. Pathfinders Club will meet tomorrow at 10 am. 6. The next Table Tennis club meeting at the church is Sunday April 28 th 3-5 PM. Players of all skill levels are welcomed and basic instruction will be provided. If you are interested, please talk to Rixon Gultom or Don Topper. 7. CHIP Alumni dinner TOMORROW at 6 pm. Later Events 8. College Park Youth Choir is coming Friday May 3 to conduct a vespers with our youth, and to offer a worship service and a concert on May 4. We are expecting about 40 people. We need help with accommodations. If our church families could billet some people, please speak to Angelina Polihronova or pastor Alex Golovenko. 9. GOOD NEIGHBOUR CAMPAIGN! Help us Survey the Needs of our Community. Youth and Community Ministries will go door to door to give Free 9V Batteries for smoke detectors. Please donate as many as you can until May 4th! 10. The May general church potluck will be held on Sabbath May 4 th . Please bring an item from the section of the first letter of your last name. Feel free to bring additional items from any category. A-C Dessert/ Fruit, D-F Drink/Juice, G-I Salad/Raw vegetables, J-M Bread/Bun, N-R Main course/Casserole, S-Z Cooked vegetable/Soup. Please note: If you are bringing a tossed salad, bread Dessert/ Fruit, the kitchen staff would appreciate if you could bring it already prepared and cut up (since our kitchen crew often does not have enough time to do this during the service). Please bring a dressing for the salad if it is normally served that way. 11. We are planning a bus trip to either Canada’s Wonderland OR Niagara Falls this July. All those who are interested please sign the bus trip sheet on the clipboard in the foyer by May 4. We need to fill the bus of 56 seats to get the price of $30 per person for the bus ride. 12.Joint elders meeting, Saturday night, May 4, 7 pm at the fellowship hall. Elders of Spanish, South & North churches coming together to plan alignment and cooperation for growth 13. The next Church Council (Board meeting) will take place on Monday, May 13 at 7 pm at our church hall. We invite all ministry leaders to continue developing their annual plans and share reports at the meeting. Key item on the agenda will be church leadership practices and proper management of ministries. June 7-8, Southern Regional campmeeting will be held in Simcoe at Norfolk County Fairgrounds, 172 South Drive, Simcoe. 15. The Social Life Committee is organizing first camping experience this summer on June 7-9 at Fanshawe. Our Church facilities will be closed as the Sabbath School & worship will take place at the camp-site. Notifications 16.
