Looking Back, 30 Years“The year was 1982 and a meeting
was at the Comox Community Center with Rick Butler, Steve
Grant and Peter Gibson. The three were brainstorming to come up
with an event for ParticipACTION, a government program to develop healthy living and physical fi tness.
It was at this meeting that the Royal Lepage Comox Valley Snow to Surf Adventure Relay Event was born.”
