Mae’s Corner April 2017 Something New To Keep Our Members Informed
Happy Easter!!! Just a reminder that we will be closed on April 14th for Good Friday, but don’t miss our special Easter Lunch on April 12th. Ham, scalloped potatoes, butter carrots, Cole slaw and as always a great dessert. Have you signed up for the Sail Boston trip? Seats are going fast so come in and put down a deposit. We are also going to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania and the Finger Lakes on 5-8 September. I wanted to remind all of all members that seats can not be saved or reserved. So don’t place silverware and napkins down for a friend if they are not here. As you know we are very crowded for almost every meal and this is the only fair way to make sure everyone gets a seat. Also if you do not buy a lunch, a take-out meal is $5.00. I hope every one has a Happy Easter. Your membership representative, Mae

The next 25 years she made it possible for students in the Upper Moreland School District, Willow Grove, PA to arrive at school safe and on time. Maria was so pleased and awarded by the happy smiles and hugs received from the scores of children.
Maria spends many hours crocheting baby caps for the Milford Hospital. She is a long time member of the AARP Milford Chapter holding several positions thru the years and also Gift Shop Manager at the MSC for five years. Currently a dedicated member at the FSC where she enjoys the “Boot and Scoot” line dancing, Bongo, the “Craft Room” where she continues her expertise with sewing and crocheting, the “Card Clubs” and “Game Nights.”
Maria Patton has many favorites. One being the color yellow and passionate about Latin spicy foods. She tried all the restaurants in the area but prefers the Arena” in Milford. Other favorites are the movie South Pacific, Marlon Brando, TV show Grimm, Ricky Nelson, and the song Calendar Girls. She is dreaming of a cruise to Alaska vacation.
Christian Tabernacle Church in Lincoln and the Corner Stone in Milford is where she spends her Sabbath Sundays. She also attends bible study at the Freedom Baptist Church in Frederica.
