Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), DKI APCSS conducted a multilateral workshop in Singapore entitled “Enhancing Maritime Safety in the Asia-Pacific Region.” Academic leads designed the workshop to facilitate information sharing on how nations implement existing international rules and standards for navigational safety. The 44 participants in the workshop represented 10 nations within the region. Thank you so much for all of your inputs to our Alumni email newsletter. Aloha... Captain Ko Ko Kyaw (Myanmar), ASC14-3, returned to DKI APCSS to accept his award as the 2016 DKI APCSS International Alumnus of the Year. He also briefed the ASC17-1 course Fellows about the project he completed, namely establishing the United Nations Peacekeeping program for Myanmar. DKI APCSS Director, Major General James Hartsell TSC15-1, presented the award to Captain Kyaw. from beautiful Hawaii! April 2017
