April 2016 Newsletter Welcome to the Sherwood WI Newsletter Information for you on upcoming events organised through County and at Sherwood plus a recap of our March meeting below. At the March meeting after the welcome to members and notices, including items relating to the AGM, we had an informative talk and photo presentation from Paul Swift on a history of some of Nottingham's hospitals, particularly the General, Children's and Women's Hospitals and their successor the Queen's Medical Centre. His photographs brought back memories for many members and were a fascinating glimpse into the past for those of us from outside the city. SIGNING IN Please make sure that you sign in as you enter at the beginning of every meeting. This is a legal requirement. You can also pick up a name sticker to help us all get to know each other better. Thank you. We value your privacy We like to keep a photographic record of WI events and speakers so you will often see people with cameras or phones flashing away. We use some of our photos for promotion and publicity purposes on the internet or on posters. If this may cause you any problems and you would rather not be photographed please let a member of the committee know.
