bull SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS May 21st is the budgetboard of education seat vote for all school districts Everyone 18 years old

by 21 May is an eligible voter for a school district You do not have to file your income taxes in NYS you do not have to own property in NYS and you do not have to have children in school to vote Please contact the SLO office if you are unsure of which school district you are eligible to vote in

bull KINDERGARTIN REGISTRATION Many schools hold kindergarten registrations in May Your child is eligible to attend

kindergarten in the fall if heshe turns 5 on or before December 1st 2013 Mandatory education begins at age 6 If you choose to not put your child in kindergarten at age 5 you may hold that child back for one year Contact your SLO for information on your school or click the following link to take view an information paper on local school district 2013 Kindergarten Registration Dates

7 CYSS SKIES DEB KENNEDY 315- 772-6551 bull DOODLEBUGS AND PEEWEE PICASSO ART PROGRAMS Tuesdays each week in May Doodlebugs is for ParentTots ages 2-3 and runs from 100 pm-130 pm and PeeWee Picasso is for parentspreschoolers ages 4-5 and runs from 145 pm-215 pm Students will learn basic art concepts and work with different mediums each week as they practice using glue sissors tape paint and following directions Cost per program is $2500 per month

bull CLAY 101 AND HANDBUILDING Students in grades K-12 can learn about clay and how to use the equipment in the classroom CLAY 101 is a mandatory class and is offered every Monday in May from 500 pm -545 pm Cost for the intro class is $500 per student and needs to be taken only once Handbuilding classes are every Thursday in May from 500 pm -700 pm and costs $1500 per class Students make different projects each class and will be able to bring projects home after they are fired in the kilns bull CREATIVE LEARNING SERIES A fun twist on educational programming ndash The Building Zone is held Thursdays in May Solve building problems and challenges with Legos Zoob Erector Sets and many more building supplies Class time is 530 pm-700 pm Cost per month for the program is $20 per youth ages 10-18 Coming in June ndash Creative Writing Fun NEED ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Website wwwdrummwrcomSKIEShtml
