COURSE OF MAKE-UP

workshop for the SAN JUAN bonfire party

SUNDAY MENUS

IMPORTANT DETAILS FOR OUR FILES

FORUM HAS GOT TALENT

last goodbyeAfter an active life in which he travelled all over the world, followed by

seven blissful years at Forum, we have had to say a loving goodbye to

Alfred Oolbekkink, bloc 4, apt. 101. He was 95 years old.* This review is published by the express desire of the family.

The San Juan bonfire which we celebrated in June of last year was very successful so we intend

to repeat it this year. We are making space for a workshop where everything necessary will be

prepared. The workshop will be organized by Carlos Llorens (Bachelor of thfine arts) and will start on Wednesday, 17 April at 5pm. in the room

thattached to the library. finishing on the 12 June. We need volunteers to help making the bonfire. You can get more

information and put your name down on the list at Reception.

It has been suggested that we should carry out a cultural project that will be called “FORUM HAS GOT TALENT". The intention is to discover previously unknown talents among Forum residents. The idea is to develop the project in phases, starting by making a date for an exhibition (like a small fair) of crafts, paintings, couture,

design, flower arrangeing, patchwork, ceramics, gardening etc.- anything that has been created by residents who can pass on their skills and artistic abilities to others by means of workshops or training groups. In addition, residents whose knowledge or experience is focused on music, dance, cooking, sports or any other activity or hobby, will have the opportunity to share their skills with others and to enrich themselves with the knowledge and experience of other residents.

This project can generate new activities, musical performances and different workshops and will without doubt help to improve communication between the various groups and nationalities here.

An annual exhibition of all the art objects that have been created throughout the year can be arranged. Anyone interested in participating in this project should speak to María at Reception during April, and let her know the activity or hobby in which they would like to get involved.

th thOn Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April from 10am. till 2pm. a course of self make up will be held by "Roe - Make up”. It consists of:

- General aspects of aesthetics-image. Importance of the essential elements required . (preparation of the skin, foundations, types of make-up, suitable tones, corrections and practices). Supervision and control will be provided. During the course we will learn about effective and practical ways to make-up, the use of pencils and brushes; we shall learn to take advantage of the cosmetics we use and how to get the best results from them. We will learn how to choose and know which products give us benefits and how to use them on different occasions (weddings, social events, day, night, etc.)The price of the course: €50, payable at Reception when booking. It is a special offer since the price is below the market price. For more information contact Roe on the telephone. Her number is 639 666 240. Maximum group of 6 people. Place: Forum's Beauty Salon.

th Sunday, 7 April: 1. Prawn lollipops. 2. Duck Confit with tomato Marmalade. thSunday, 14 April: 1. Goat cheese´ Sachets. 2. Veal Steak with mushroom sauce. stSunday, 21 April: 1. Prawn Cocktail. 2. Roast Lamb. thSunday, 28 April: 1. Sea Fried Mix. 2. Pork Sirloin fillet with gravy.

th* Friday, 26 April a different daily menu will be served.

1. Salad de la Huerta. 2 Meat and vegetable paella (Please book at ndReception by 22 April)

We would like to remind you how important it is to have in our files details of our residents containing

information that can be helpful in case of any kind of emergency. Files provide us with information about

how we can locate someone, the medicines you take, whether you have any allergy, the insurances you

have, your doctor or any clinic that you want to be moved to if necessary, relatives or friends whom we have

to communicate with in an emergency, the number of your mobile phone and a long etcetera of essential

details which ensure your security and will allow us to act according to the will of each person.

While it is almost absolutely essential to have these details of those who live alone, couples should also

provide them since an emergency may arise at a moment when one partner is alone.

If you have not provided us with your personal details yet and you wish to do so, you can ask at

Reception for the questionnaires to be completed. When you have completed the form hand it in to

Reception in a sealed envelope. In any case the details you provide for us are strictly confidential and

are held only by the management and sub management of the complex who have installed an electronic

system that allows them, and only them, to access these details wherever they are 24 hours a day.

Do not forget that in some cases to have information readily available can save life.

This month our Magazine Info Forum is printed in Spanish, English, German and Dutch. If you have received it in a wrong language, please tell reception.
