    Nearly 1600 wrestlersconverged on the BillingsMetra for the premieramateur wrestling tourna-ment in the state. 28Highlanders made thejourney to help contributeto one of the largestwrestling tournaments inMontana State history.

    Glasgow native JasonWeirs, Montana Opentournament director,has done an outstandingjob over the past severalyears helping buildthis tournament into apowerful regional event. Led by tournamentChampion Kohl Kittleson,the Highlanders cameaway with an impressive10 total placers on theweekend. A number ofothers were just a matchor two away from placing.
