Back to the issue of the Sword. I am presenting you with this as a physicalrepresentation which looks similar to your drawing of the Staff and Sword logo. I had tomodify it a bit and no, it's not perfect, but please enjoy it. And now the Staff has a friendto be with in the closet or wherever one puts a Staff. I'm sure a sword would be appropriateside by side, as well, in that particular location,

Response to Bill and Kathy hr C-JOHNEL: Thank you kindly for theencouragement and loving advice. It is taken in the same Spirit it is given. As to theStaff and Sword. The Staff itself is The Sword of the Lord God, it both signifiesChrist 's empowerment and His authority vested in myself and this Ministry. Whenwe move `In The Spirit ' and into battle, The Staff becomes a broad sword, it is huge.The blade itself is at least hal f a foot wide, its length is well over six feet. It is muchlarger than the Sword of the Word.

Once in battle with "Supremes " (high order demon princes), the average brother orsister :found it difficult to land a blow on these formidable demons. I'd enter with theSword of the Lord GOD and with one sweep would cut through two to three ranksof demon p rinces, slicing them asunder. Once their line was broken the otherwarriors easily took them down with the Sword of the Word.

How could these demon princes resist so well? In part, they were in unity withhuman rebellion, therefore operating out of the free will of carnal men, oftenministers who used God 's Word against God 's people. The other part is that thesedemon princes fought shoulder to shoulder, unified in unbroken ranks in ways mostother demons did not follow.

So The Staff iis the Shepherd 's staff by which He leads His lambs, and the Sword ofthe Lord, which He uses to destroy those threatening His people. This was given tome under GOD'S Commission and Anointing.

Feeding a baby is one sure way of finding out how badly your suit spots.

Please let me respond to some of what you wrote. You mentioned having heard

of a brother who died after he stopped taking insulin. If this happened, it is sad. If aperson does not have faith for healing, he may be better off going the medical routealong with all of the sinners. However, let us not forget about all of thePentecostal/Charismatic Christians who have gone the medical route and after theradiationichemo therapy, have died of something that God heals supernatural]y. I wasin the home of a man in the Chicago area who was healed of cancer supernaturally,having been given 24 or 48 hours to live.

Sometimes when I teach on divine healing I mention William Hicks. In 1957


Charles H. On March 10, 2011. (Quote continued) he heard a message in whichit was said that by Jesus' Stripes he was healed. He believed that. The last time Italked to him was in 2007, 50 years after he heard that message. During those 50years he never sought medical attention and never missed a day's work, or a churchservice because of sickness. He had been sick prior to this.

You indicated that the medical profession and medicine is a gift from God forthose of His people who need that help; and you implied that doctors learn their skillsby the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Most, if not all, medicines have undesirable sideeffects. Does God give gifts that have undesirable side effects? What about thewounds and undesirable side effects of surgery? Is this also a gift from God" ifungodly doctors acquire skills by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, then what aboutungodly people who design and fly airplanes on which missionaries fly? What aboutungodly people who have invented and manufactured computers that ministers useto prepare sermons? Were all of these people inspired by God, or did they just havenatural abilities?

In James 5:14-15, sick believers are told to call for the elders of the church, notrun to the doctors. If we go the medical route, let us be honest enough to admit thatit is because we lack faith. May we not deceive ourselves and others, claiming thatGod is leading us.

In your newsletter you indicated that I am a "grievous wolf' and need to getsaved. I got saved on April 19, 1963. I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit thenext day, and I was baptized (immersed) at first opportunity. I was ordained as anelder in the Church of God in Christ, presently the largest Pentecostal denomination

in the U.S. in about 1969. In 1978 hands were laid on me in a Pentecostal church andI was sent out as a missionary. I have ministered in more than 20 countries. Peoplehave gotten saved, healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Churches have beenstarted. I presently oversee a number of churches. I have written a number of booksand many people have told me that they were blessed by them. My calling is that ofa teacher and an apostle.

I think it would be good for us to pray for each other. You are on our prayerlist. My wife, who has been saved for more than 60 years, and I, pray together forneeds on Sundays. Please pray for me in a way that is appropriate." (Unquote)

Comment In' JOHNEL: What is "Faith "? Well, we read in Hebrews 11: 1 thefollowing: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for-, the evidence of thing notseen. " To the vast majority of brethren this is as clear as mud, they have no betteran idea of the meaning of faith than before they read what the Bible says about it.The real problem is that those teaching and pastoring in the church have no better


Comment by JOHNEL (continued) : idea of the meaning offaith than the averagesister or brother sitting in the pew. We have all seen or heard of how ` faith " healedothers, but that does not increase our understanding of what 'faith" is. Manybrethren think that "Belief" is "Faith" but the two are very different, related likecousins but not really close. Belief is something we do, Faith is something God does.

The brother I mentioned previously, a young man with a wife and two small children,was a diabetic and on insulin. He was told that if he had faith he didn 't need theinsulin. Well, he did "believe"and mav have thought that to be `faith "so he stoppedtaking insulin. To take insulin would have been a sin because it is impossible toplease God apart from faith (Hebrews 11: 6). Sadder yet, he did lack faith, he hadbelief and he slipped into a coma and died, leaving his wife and two small childrento fend for themselves. He was taught a hard doctrine and it brought him death.

Even at his , funeral, his brethren wagged their heads, stating, "He lacked faith andso he died." Wow, what a church - anyone want to j oin this bunch and embrace theirdoctrine?

MAUREEN: In the late 1980's Iwas driving through the west coast, extending the

Seal of the Living God. One brother asked me to stop in San Francisco to see hiswife, who was very sick and to seal her. Maureen belonged to this CharismaticSpirit-filled Church and had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her churchbrethren told her to simply have _faith, to ignore the doctor and not undergotreatment which would be an act offaithlessness thus sin. She held out but the cancergrew worse. Finally, at the urging of her parents (both Doctors) she underwentsurgery, radiation and chemo. It saved her life, but she was living in an vacuumsomewhere between life and death. She was too weak to stay home with her twochildren (girls) and was moved to live with her parents in San Francisco.

When I came by to visit Maureen, I walked into a home that was under the shadow

of death and sorrow, it was so thick you could cut it. Turns out her mother had been

diagnosed with a brain tumor and the next day she was going in for a tissue sample

to see if it was cancer. Her sister had broken her arm and was in a cast. Maureenwas gloomy and doubtful and told me right up . front, saying, "I do NOT believe thatthe Seal of the Living God will help me at all."

Knowing she was Irish by descent (as I am), and knowing the Irish, I told her somejokes that were pr-etty .firnnv and got her laughing. The Irish can laugh in the face of

Then JESUS spoke to me and said, "ASK MAUREEN WHAT SHE WANTS OFME." I relayed JESUS Word, and to my considerable surprise Maureen beganrattling off one thing after another: she wanted her mother to be okay, no cancer, shewanted to be rid of her cancer, she wanted her appetite back and to grow her hairback, and when she was stronger she wanted to be re-united with her husband andlittle girls. For a person, who the moment before was full of skepticism, doubt,unbelief if not hostility to the things of'God, her turn about caught me by surprise.

I prayed with her to the ends of what she asked _ for and Sealed her, her sister andmom and left on my way. Iwas on the road for about another month before returninghome to Chicago and waiting . for me was a letter from Maureen. She was ebullient,very up and cheerful, joyful and happy, thanking JESUS, thanking me and PraisingGod. Her mom had the test, the tumor was benign, it was removed and she was backhome well. The cancer was not in remission, it was gone! She was taken off her coeds,she was eating and growing her hair back and shortly she would be joined to herfamily in Santa Barbara. A day after I'd sealed her husband and their little girls, theyoungest daughter had a serious accident on the play set, she fell off and :flewthrough the air landing on her head in such a way that her neck should have beenbroken. Not a bruise, nothing, she was fine. I received a number of letters fromMaureen. Again she was very joyful, she had her life back, she had victory over theenemy, death, and she could not Praise and Thank JESUS enough.

Six months passed and I got a letter f rom her husband. He explained that Maureenhad a little cold and laid down to rest and she died. He asked me, "Why?!?"

I went to JESUS in prayer and asked JESUS what had happened. He told me plainlythat He called Maureen into Heaven and explained that because of her experienceshe would not be strong enough to cope with the trials and troubles of life. JESUSgave Maureen a choice: to stay or to come home to Him. Maureen chose to be withJESUS and He took her.

Her husband did not understand though I offered what JESUS told me. I pursued thiswith JESUS in and out of prayer and when I was with Him in Heaven. H7 at JESUStold me opened my eves to a serious trouble in the Church itself JESUS explainedthat there was not enough ofHis Love in the Church whereby Maureen could receivea deeper healing. JESUS worked a true miracle in healing Maureen, but the lack of


Comment b y JOHNEL {continued : love in the church would undo Maureen. WhenJESUS gave us a new Commandment, to Love one another, it was not a request buta Commandment. If His Church did not live that, then the healing needed would notcome. You see, we are His representatives in this world, we convey His love or we do

not, we live His love or we do not.

The Spirit-filled Church Maureen belonged to required her to have faith to be well.She didn't have that faith and so when she turned to the Medical Profession for help,she was accused, berated, judged by her brethren in the Church. She was not onlysuffering from a terrible disease, but she was being beat-up by brethren for havinga lack of faith and that hurled her into a netherland between life and death and allthe misery that came with it. Maureen was severely wounded in her spirit and thesewere deep wounds inflicted by brethren out of their doctrinal position that was voidof Christ's Love.

Those that did this to Maureen fall into the categor y of being "grievous wolves " wholack Christ's Love, lack a living relationship with Jesus Himself who lackcompassion and kindness towards one another.

The writer of the letter I respond to now stated plainly, (Quote) "If a person does nothave faith for healing, he may be better off going the medical route along with all ofthe sinners." (Unquote) So if a brother or sister seeks medical care this qualifiesthen as being a "sinner" - these are the sentiments of a grievous wolf

When I traveled the roads in the 1980's extending God's Sealing, I was felled by apain so severe I could taste the pain. I took a room, I could not bear to sit up andused what little money I had for the room for• a night. I had no money, no creditcards, no check book and was as poor as a church mouse. I had no medical optionthat I knew of. The pain did not relent, it seemed to go up a notch or two every hour.

Now, I have a high tolerance for pain, but this pain was off the charts. JESUS 'Angel,who guarded and kept me, told me to lay down on the bed. I did. That is the last thingI remember til the early morning hours when I woke up pain free, feeling , fine andenergized. YYhatever it was, it was gone. I moved on, extending the Seal of the LivingGod and heard many reports of miracles resulting from the Sealing.

Fast forward to 2010- while working on repairing a fence I was_felled by the samekind ofpain experienced in 1980.1 barely made it to the house and here Nancy-TONIprayed over inc and I was inclined to wait until the next day to see a doctor. The pain

Comment by JOHNEL (continued): did not slow down, it got worse, so much sothat I agreed to go the Emergency Room. It was no coincidence that the HOLYSPIRIT had moved me a month earlier to pray to be willing to accept medicalprocedures that I would normally reject. Doubtless, the HOL YSPIRIT was preparingme for what followed. I ended up going into surgery for the better part of 7 or 8hours. It took me another 6 months to recover from that surgery.

I guess by this brothers definition I qualify as a "sinner" because I , followed theHOLYSPIRIT leading to go to the Emergency Room and be submitted to the doctors.

But why did I suffer this affliction? Sin in my life? Actually, these conditions were theresult of wounds endured by brethren who aimed hatred, accusations, rejection andall sorts of violence against nee as Jesus' Prophet. The wounds accumulated andsurfaced in the afflictions I've had to face and overcome. In 19801 was gvien tooverhear Lucifer talking to his demon princes whereby he told them to keep hittinginc until I bled to death. The attacks came through brethren doing Lucifer's will -grievous wolves. More recently the doctors warned me that I. face a tricky situationwhere blood vessels could erupt and where I 'd bleed out in less than an hour. Themedicine I take works to help inc overcome that. But I remember hearing Lucifersaying, "Hit him tit he bleeds to death." Those hitting inc were and are brethren.

When it comes to Healings, I perceive two kinds of healing:

(1) Miracle healing - out of God 's Sovereign Wi/I.

('2) Perfect Will healing - out of love and prayer in the church.

When this brother talks about the troubles (side effects) of medicine and of surgeryand of the natural world, that is not news. No surprise, we live in a fallen world andnothing here is perfect. Man invented fire: some use it to cook, to heat their hones,others use it to burn homes down and to destroy. It is not the . fire that is the problem,it is carnal man, _fallen man that can and often will misuse God 's Provision.

When the writer of the letter says, (Quote) "Were all ofthese people inspired by God,or did they just have natural abilities? " (Unquote) That is a strange question -where do people get "natural abilities "from? It is built into us? Ifso, then "Who"built it into us except GOD! Ifsorneone would say, "The devil did it!": I 'd respondby saying, the devil is the father of lies, a deceiver, a murderer, but from what I have

When I encouraged this brother to get saved, I was not diminishing the work he hasdone, the missionary work, evangelism, teaching, church building and more.Excellent, but the question remains, "Do you know Jesus personally, intimatelyand do you commune with Him day by day. Do you know His voice?" In thejudgment some will stand before the Lord saving that they healed many in His Name,they worked great works in His Name and so on; but then Jesus rebuffed them saying"...I KNEW YOU NOT: DEPART FROM ME... " (JESUS in Matthew 7: 23).

When I considered responding to his letter this scripture carne clearly to mind andlikewise with another Christian who read the letter. This is more my concern, , forthisman to get to know JESUS directly and personally.

I have gone to this extent because there is much to learn in this area. God bless. C-JOHNEL.

It's beena workout for my heart as in some chapters I start to judge God as requiring too much(3 lambs, and I've got only one cow), but He doesn't. He's merciful and still makesa way (two turtle doves for the poorer folk). I've also gotten upset at God for Hisrules on uncleanness, thinking He's unreasonable. Then the last few days my sinshave mounted up into this big pile, and I find myself more interested in acquiringatonement for my uncleanness.

We heard the testimony of a man who died and experienced hell for sevenminutes. When he came back to his body, he immediately asked God what he neededto do to not go to hell again. God spoke to him and said, "GET TO KNOW ME."That's beautiful to me, because that's what I keep seeing in the Bible and in my life,that God wants to reveal/know everything in my heart, and He wants me toknow/experience every part of Him..." Response by JOHNEL: First, we pray about those things which the Lord JESUSdirects us to pray about. Wizen we took on Islam many years ago, we began withintercession, then moving 'In The Spirit 'we saw in no uncertain terms that this wasa demonic kingdom and those bound by Islam were hell bound - 1.5 Billion livingsouls. The Jews or Hebrews, of who in many of us are a part, worship the same Godwe do, we have the same Bible, they reject the New Testament but embrace classicOld Testament worship of'God. The Jew rejects JESUS as their Messiah and Savior,that has been their position _ for the better part of 2,000 years. However, the Bibleclearly reveals "how" God will awaken them in His time. Mtn position, since theparallels between us are so significant, is to leave this issue to God. IfHe shows usHe wants us to conduct a prayer campaign then we will. Until the Lord GOD sodirects us we stay on the course He has set before us. It is not a matter of beingindifferent, for I'm not. I've witnessed to Jews, seen some who became "completedJews" (accepting JESUS as their Messiah) and some who are firm, if notimnmoveable, in their resistance to JESUS as their Messiah.

Our "Prayer Power" is very limited and how we apply that p rayer power issomething we yield to JESUS and He shows us how to direct our prayer focus. Rightnow, the Jews are not on the list.

I do have a witness in my heart and in my Spirit, that San Francisco will be hit

hard by a strong earthquake. I don't think it's right now, nor soon—like L.A. I dobelieve we have a little time. I think that the Golden Gate Bridge may break apart. Iwas here in 1989 when the earthquake hit Oct. 17 `h (my son's birthday) and the baybridge was severely damaged. Do you have any time frame as to when Northern CAwill be hit with a large earthquake?

I believe the Lord will keep us here in our green pastures (we have a horse withacreage, in the country). He will also keep others in CA who are seeking Him. If weneed to move, then the Lord will show us." (Unquote)

Comment by JOHNEL: You have a well balanced view but need to be seekingJESUS on what you ought do down the road - keep your prayer , focus here and beopen to whatsoever He reveals. There is a little time but not as much as there wasyears ago.

The earthquake to hit Los Angeles is part of a larger pattern to serious earthquaketroubles in the U.S. It is not unlike a lynchpin, when it happens it opens up all sortsof possibilities. Years ago we recognized that earthquakes starting in either LosAngeles or San Francisco lead to other earthquakes. A quake in L.A_ can and willlead to an earthquake in San Francisco and visa versa. Major earthquakes inCalifornia can lead to quakes and volcanic activity across the whole U.S. andCanada.
