PARISH LOTTERY CALENDARS Parish Lottery Calendars are available in the back of the Churches. If we sell all of the Lottery Calendars we will realize a profit of $ 10,000.00. Calendars are $ 20.00 each and you get 275 chances to win. Drawings continue thru December 31st, 2013. Each Parish Family is asked to take at least (5) calendars to sell. Calendars are available in the back of the Churches, please sign them out on the sheet provided. There are about 110 calendars left, with 55 at St. Augustine and 55 at St. Francis. So far only 661 returns have been made. If you have not already made your returns, please do so as soon as possible. Please help us sell all the calendars again this year!!! Sales will continue until all Calendars are gone.

NEW LECTORS & ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED

New Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Altar Servers are needed to assist Fr. Cas at both of our Churches. We are in particular need of new Lectors to assist at the 8:00AM and 4:30PM Masses at St. Francis Church and new Altar Servers at the 4:30PM Masses at St. Francis Church. If you have ever thought about assisting with any Ministry, especially by becoming a Lector or Altar Server, please speak with Fr. Cas or Deacon Ken. Altar Servers can be anyone who has received the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Adult Altar Servers would also be most welcome.

ANNUAL ST. BRIGID PARISH GARAGE SALE AT NEUMANN CENTER The Annual Garage Sale at Neumann Center, Choconut will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 26th and 27th, from 8AM to 6:00PM. You can participate in one of the following ways: 1. Rent a table for $ 5.00 to sell your own treasures. You may set up after 5:00PM on Thursday,

April 25th. 2. Donate items to the Parish to be sold. Items must be clean, usable, and working. We will accept clean children’s clothing this year. We will accept items on Thursday, April 25th, after 5:00PM. If you have questions or to reserve a table, please call Homan’s at 553-2860.

AD BOOK MEETING

The first Picnic/Festival Ad Book Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 17th, at 6:00PM in St. Francis Hall.

PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING The Parish Pastoral Council will meet on Wednesday, April 24th, at 6:00PM in St. Francis Hall.

DIVINE MERCY DEVOTIONS

Divine Mercy Devotions are held following Sunday Masses at St. Francis & St. Augustine. You are encouraged to stay for a few minutes after Mass for this wonderful devotion.

COLLECTION FOR CARE & EDUCATION OF PRIESTS—THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who donated so generously to last weekend’s special collection for the Care Education of Priests. A total of $ 581.00 was donated.

WASHING MACHINE NEEDED

If anyone has a good used washing machine that they are no longer using, we are in need of one for Neumann Hall. If you have one you would like to donate, please contact the Parish office at 553-2288 or Joe or Mary Homan at 553-2860.

HELP NEEDED A Benefit for Mike Swaha will be held at the Choconut Inn on Saturday, May 4th, from 5PM to 12PM. Mike has stage 4 cancer and the benefit will help with medical expenses. OPERATION RICE BOWL—Thank you for your generosity through CRS Rice Bowl this year! Our Parish raised $ 862.75 for Catholic Relief Services. Your participation in CRS Rice Bowl will continue to make a difference in the lives of those in need throughout the entire year. ADORATION HOURS OPEN AT ST. AUGUSTINE CHURCH! Adoration runs from 5:00AM to Midnight, Monday through Friday. The chapel is closed during inclement weather. If the adorer is sick, going away on a trip or otherwise unable to keep their hour, a substitute will be available to keep it for them. God will bless you, your family and the world a thousand times as much for this sacrifice of making a holy hour because God cannot be outdone in generosity.
