Rudolf Boelee

Born 1940, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Arrived in New Zealand in 1963 as a merchant

seaman and then worked at a variety of

occupations in the hotel, paper and dairy

industries. He started painting in 1969 and has

been an exhibiting artist since 1972.
