Receive a full of materials, tools, surprises and cool stuff designed to spark exploration and experimentation.
Be employed at a Host Site for the summer of 2014 to engage children and families in creative projects that develop problem-solving skills, while gaining experience serving as a community leader. All Host Sites are youth-serving organizations such as libraries, museums, and schools.
JOIN A COMMUNITY OF MAKER EDUCATORS
Join a select community training with peers in online, interactive Spring Development Camps, making, inventing, collaborating, and preparing for Host Site placements.
If accepted as a Maker Corps Member, you will:
Develop a creative portfolio of your work, project development and ideas to aid in future career opportunities.
We are looking for creative individuals who enjoy making things and are passionate about sharing their love of learning with others!

To qualify, you must be at least 18 years old as of April 7, 2014, be available for 5 weeks of online training April - May, and reside in, or be willing to relocate to, one of the Host Site cities for the Summer of 2014.
Become a Maker Corps “Mentor” at the completion of your summer placement, a status that can lead to many more employment and volunteer opportunities as a recognized leader in maker education.
