Terrestrial laser scanner
provides highly accurate, three-dimensional data in short time; is able to record millions of 3D points; captures complex 3D environments faster than alternative techniques; gives milion of points in the cloud which have X, Y, Z and I (intensity); measurements can be imported into CAD or 3D application software and
displayed on a computer monitor as a "point cloud”.
Typical steps
1. Measurement 2. Processing data3. Point cloud – Modeling
