Disconnect the negative battery ter-minal to prevent an accidental shortcircuit.

Unclip the collar below the shift knoband slide down. Using a small screw-driver or hook tool remove the springclip to release and remove the shiftknob. (Figure A)

Unclip the cup holder/shifter trimpanel. Unplug and remove panel.(Figure B)

4 Remove (2) Phillips screws from thebottom of the radio/climate controlpanel. (Figure C)

5 Remove (2) Phillips screws from thepanel below the steering column thenunclip and let the panel hang.

Remove (2) Phillips screws securingthe pocket to the radio/climate con-trol panel and remove pocket. (Retainpocket for use during kit assembly.)

Use (2) small flat blade screwdriversto gently pry the vents from radio/cli-mate control panel to remove. (Retainvents for use during kit assembly.)

Unclip and remove the thin plastictrim at the top edge of the radio/cli-mate control panel.

Continue to kit preparation.

Attach the vents into the radio housingin the same location as the factorypanel. (Figure A)

Secure the factory pocket removed instep 16 of the dash disassembly intothe radio housing using the factoryhardware. (Figure B)

Continue to kit assembly.

*Note: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio.

Attach the top radio housing bracket tothe radio housing using the (2) #8 X3/8” Phillips screws provided with thiskit. (Figure C)

Clip the thin plastic trim removed instep18 (of page 3) to the top edge ofthe radio housing.

Connect the black end of the climatecontrol cable to the climate controls inthe radio housing and connect theother end of the cable to the factoryclimate control harness during finalassembly.

DIN RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET

Slide the DIN cage into the RadioHousing and secure by bending themetal locking tabs outward. (Figure A)

Slide the aftermarket radio into thecage until it snaps into place. (Figure B)

ISO MOUNT RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET

Mount the ISO Brackets to the radiowith the screws supplied with theradio. (Figure A)

Slide the radio into the radio housinguntil it snaps into place. (Figure B)

Snap the ISO trim plate onto the frontof the Radio Housing. (Figure B)

Snap the Double DIN brackets to theinside edge of the radio housing.(Figure B)

Slide the Double DIN radio into thebracket/trim plate assembly andsecure the radio to the assembly usingthe screws supplied with the radio.(Figure C)

Snap the Double DIN brackets to theinside edge of the radio housing.(Figure B)

Slide the stacked ISO units into thebracket/radio housing assembly andsecure the units to the kit using thescrews supplied with the units. (Figure C)

Snap the Double DIN trim plate into theradio housing. (Figure C)

Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individ-ually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)

Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.

Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly.

FINAL WIRING CONNECTIONSMake wiring connections using the EIA color code chart shown below and the instructions included with thehead unit. Metra recommends making connections as shown below; Strip, Splice, Solder, Tape. Isolate and

individually tape off ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
