Follow these steps to add apps to all the iPads at once.

1. Go to iTunes and down-load new Free apps.

2. Select iTunes Store in the left column.

3. Select the App Store tab in the black menu bar (indicated below).

4. Search for an app you are trying to locate or...

5. Choose a category from the drop down menu.

6. I suggest choosing Education category.

7. Once within the Education app section, locate the Top Free Apps in the right column.

8. Click the See All option.

• This will take you to a page of free educational apps

9. Select any that seem interesting.

10. If these don’t meet your needs, search for apps by subject or concept within the search bar.

11. When downloading new apps you will have to input the Apple ID password for the cart computer. (Do not put your Apple ID and password into the Cart MacBook or any of the iPads from the cart.)

12. Once you have selected all of the apps you wanted to purchase, it is time to open another application to distribute the apps to all of the iPads.

Be sure to find retrieve the iPad Car Apple ID and Password from your tech member.

1. Once you have selected all apps and each app has downloaded completely into iTunes, open the icon you see above entitled Apple Configurator.

• If this icon is not already within the dock, open it with through the Launchpad.

2. Make sure the cart is powered on.

3. Then, set the MacBook Air on top of the iPad Cart and plug in the USB

cord to the MacBook.

Refer to the image below for the following steps:

1. Select the Supervise button if not done so already.

2. Select All iPads and make sure all iPads are indicated below with a battery icon and green light.

3. Select the Apps tab to check or uncheck all wanted apps.

4. Then, click the addition sign below the app titles.

5. A new window will open with all of the app titles down-loaded onto the computer.

There are two options for select-ing the apps at this point:

6. Select the apps you just down-loaded and click Open.

7. Select all of the apps to be placed onto the iPads.

• Click the first app and press shift + click for the last app.

• Next, choose open.

8. Now, you will have to replace all of the apps that were originally on the iPads.

• This is helpful when too many apps were downloaded in a single sitting, and it becomes too difficult to keep track of all the new apps.

9. If you choose to reload all the apps again, you will have to replace each of the exist-ing apps by selecting Replace repeatedly.

10. The easiest way to do this is by pressing Enter/Return until all apps are replaced.

11. When all apps are loaded and/or replaces, make sure the apps are checked and se-lect the Apply button at the bottom of the Apple Configurator window.
