Apollonia is a beautiful Oyster 70 yacht one of only four ever built
I have known this particular yacht since she was new whilst I was a shipwright serving my
apprenticeship with Berthon Boat Company I subsequently project managed the current owners first
refit at SYS in 2010
Whilst she has had professional crew much of her life she has also been enjoyed by the present owner
without full time crew being easily handled with in mastfurling by the owner and his son when day
sailing Having had money spent in the right places over the years she has looked after her past and
present owner(s) as well as they have looked after her
Her current owner a WM Club Member has lavished over Apollonia and systematically been
maintaining upgrading and enhancing as part of her ongoing maintenance programme
