Noof designing/detailing for fabrication of material so as to reduce additional costs due to modification works.CSRV's are prepared within a reasonable period of time on receipt of material.

Any payment made to third parties will be accounted through their concerned ledgers only.

Raw material and consumables issued to the production as per the specifications and lengths mentioned in the indents given.

Original bills are to be obtained from the suppliers and account the same in ERP.

Expenses are accounted in ERP to their respective head of accounts.

Minimum three quotations should be obtained from the competitive vendors for procurement of raw material.

CSRV's are prepared for all the raw material received into factory premises.debtors are recovered at the earliest by making adequate follow-up.

Internal Audit Report Jan'14 - CUPL FactoryObservationIt is observed that modification was done to fabricated items due to change in design and cost of such works claimed by contractors amounted to Rs.17,693/-. Details are given in Anx-I.

It is observed that CSRV's are being raised with a delay ranging from 3-12 days. Details are given in Anx-III.It is observed that expenditure to the extent of Rs.1,20,323/- is directly booked in bank mode rather than routing the same through vendor ledgers. Details are given in Anx-VI.

It is observed that in few cases material is issued to the production department for shorter lengths than the lengths specified in the MIRs. Details are given in Anx-VII.An amount of Rs.2,633/- claimed by SN Fluid Tech towards purchase of consumable items against which Xerox copy of the bill is enclosed to the voucher vide voucher no. PVCU4AP3389 dated 31-Jan-14. interest for late remittance of statutory dues is debited to Bank charges instead of 'Interest on Others' ledger. Details are given in Anx-VIII.It is observed that only two quotations are obtained in case of Purchase Order no. POCU4AP549 dated 07-Jan-14 placed on M/s MR Steels for supply of 4.220 MTs of 10mm PGMS Plates amounting to Rs.1,86,545/-. Quotations are obtained from M/s MR Steels & HST Steels.It is observed that CSRV is not prepared for 15.24 MTs of 8mm/16mm HT Plates received from M/s ABSPL on 22-Jan-14 (7.070 MTs) and 25-Jan-14 (8.170 MTs).It is observed that sundry debtors to the extent of Rs.1,15,891/- is aged more than 180 days as on 31-Jan-14. Details are given in Anx-XIII.
