Korea and japan In 1910, Korea was annexed by Japan In 1945, Japan had lost WW2 leaving Korea partitioned under the 38th parallel

Soviet and American controlKorea was divided up by the Americans and Soviets by the 38th Parallel.The Communist Soviets had control of the North part and The Americans had control of the South part of Korea.

The Korean WarThe Korean War began on June, 25 1950 when 75,000 North Korean soldiers crossed the 38th parallel and tried to invade South Korea. The North Koreans were given weapons and military technology by the Soviet UnionSouth Korea was aided by the United States during the War The war lasted 3 Years

The end of the Korean war The Korean War ended on July 27, 1953Over 500,000 people died in the warThe War ended after the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed. The agreement insured a complete cessation of hostilities and of all acts of armed force in Korea until a final peaceful settlement was achieved. However, North Korea claims to have won the warA Demilitarized Zone was established

The Future Of KoreaThe Future of Korea is very questionable. Some believe that North Korea will enter into a nuclear war with the U.S or that North Korea will try to invade the south again or maybe the countries will join together in peace.
