Biological themes such as stability and diversity will be intertwined throughout the course. Chemist Pharmacist Doctor Veterinarian Biotechnologist Physicist Students will study & experience college level topics that include: biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, biotechnology, evolution, taxonomy, plant & animal systems and ecology. Students will study & experience college level topics that include: atomic structure, chemical bonding, states of matter, stoichiometry, kinetics, equilibrium and chemical reactions. Students will explore the macroscopic features of the world through the following topics: Newtonian mechanics, work, energy & power, mechanical waves & sound and circuits. Capstone/Science Fair will allow students to research & present upon a scientific question of interest. Collaboration amongst the professional science community will be an essential component. Students will meet with their counselor and/or grade level administrator to discuss options of possible science, mathematics or technology related experiences available.
