• Fossil oil is coming to an end• What will be the new energy source for farmer?• EU climate goal: 20% renewable energy by 2020,

which contribution by agriculture?

• High energy imports for agriculture– oil– feed stuff (mainly soja)

situation

regional:

• lack of jobs• energy imports = money outflow• farmer spend more and more money for diesel and

feed stuff

our idea

• farmer will produce their energy needed mainly by themself

• mix crop, no monoculture

• appropriate (smart) technology

• vegetable oil – on local level

philosophy

• farmer will not produce row material for the industry/ export, but ….

• … will become an essential part of a new, decentralized energy chain
