Do Not Be Afraid
"Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you
good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 'For there is born to
you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord'."
Luke 2: 10 & 11
Did you get the message? Did you rush to see this amazing event as the
shepherds first did? Have you heard the Good News? Have you said in your own heart,
"Glory to God in the highest!"?
There is still time, the sale is not yet over. Matter of fact, it’s free for us to
receive. Go to your God, go to His Word, go to your Church, hear the Good News,
Thank God for His Gift of Salvation through that little baby boy, born in a stable,
lying in a manger for...YOU!
How important are You then? VERY!, for God did not spare
His ONLY SON but shared him with the world, sacrificed
him for the world, but espe- cially right now for You.
Get down on your knees, humble yourself, and
worship the King of kings and Lord of lords, born to bring us salvation. Did we deserve it?
NO! Does He love us that much? YES! For we are His workmanship created in Christ Je-
sus for good works. So let
us now get up from our knees, now that we have praised and thanked Him, and go out
into the world and do His bidding through prayer and the power of His Holy Spirit.
“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit,
who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth
will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their
descendants-from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.” Isaiah 59:21
"Now when they had seen him they made widely known the saying which was told them
concerning this Child." vs17 P.S. That's our real joy this New Year, sharing His-Story!
Congratulations to Sharon Norelius who was commissioned as a
Rostered Lutheran School Teacher—LCMS—by Bishop Lecakes at
LuHi. God has blessed your studies and hard work, we are all so
proud and happy for you Sharon and wish you all the best!
Sharon and Pastor Travis, Elise, Amelia, Rob, Sharon, Mim, Ted
“Arise, shine, for your light has come!
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1

Called Home by the Lord… Russell DiPietro was called Home on December 5th at the age of 63 years old. Russell had problems with his heart and passed away after aortic value replacement surgery. He was a plumber and many at church knew the family. He helped us many times at church with his plumbing skills and also gave us the beautiful white dogwood vases that beautify our sanctuary. Each time we see them let us remember his wife Joan and daughter Diana in prayer at this time of sadness. Walter Grill passed away suddenly after a fall. Our sympathy, prayers and love to his wife Audrey, former member of Trinity. Charlotte Wolf was called Home by the Lord in December. Our love and sympathy to the Wolf/Johnson family as the Lord has taken our sister-in-Christ, a former member who was residing in Maine near family. She will be reposed at Dodge-Thomas this week, May our Lord’s peace be with her family. Thanksgiving Gifts were received from and thanks to: The Beresford Family, Marleisa and Alexander Edelman and Thrivent Financial.
