PETERSBURG, RUSSIA CULTURAL STUDIES AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAM JULY 7 - AUGUST 5, 2018 S tudents have the opportunity to explore the magical city of St. Pe- tersburg for 4 weeks in the summer at Stony Brook University’s International Summer School founded by SBU Pro- fessor of Linguistics John Bailyn. This program, featuring a range of courses in cultural studies, linguistics, media, film and others, is housed at St. Petersburg State University, Russia’s oldest univer- sity. “Explore St. Petersburg!” features an ex- tensive cultural program. Additionally students select an internship such as volunteering, teaching English, working with children or community service.
