Hope Academic and Skill Centre today is a very different product from the school that was opened in 1995. It functions in an entirely different era and in an entirely different country. Nevertheless the best features of Hope Academic and Skill Centre. The family values and the feeling of belonging in a caring environment are still there. Today we continue to strive to be true to our school motto Assuring Your Future Our Mission focus is the learner and as a provider of education our aim is to maintain and improve the standards set over the past 21 years. Preparing learners for the world of work and acceptance at tertiary institutions is vital, but we do not neglect the moral and pastoral role.

Hope Academic and Skill Centre is a Community-Based Centre (CBC) devoted to the promotion of Education and Skill among young and old. We boast competent staff, subject matter experts in our fields, with an emphasis on service excellence and quality materials and systems. The Centre trains nationally and is able to accommodate most of our clients’ needs with our flexible approach.

The purpose of Hope Academic and Skill Centre is to educate, empower, and enable all students to become caring, contributing citizens who can succeed in an ever-changing world. Hope Academic and Skill Centre is committed to focusing on high expectations and individual academic success and to creating a community of respect and responsibility.

Hope Academic and Skill Centre will be a nurturing, safe and professional environment that supports the educational success and social, emotional, and physical development of all students. Courses will be academic, engaging, and standards-based, with a focus on the learner. All school staff will be highly qualified and caring instructors who are

attentive to the educational, cultural and physical needs of students and the Hope Academic and Skill Centre community. Parents will be positive, supporting members of the school community. STAFF VALUES

We will provide a safe environment that fosters positive character and

accountability and that values individuality by treating all members of the school
