it has been designed around ULN2803 IC which is high voltage and high current 8 channel transistor array. Kit is very useful interface board that allows much higher voltage and higher current devices to be interfaced to the low level logic. Useful in application like 8 channel Solenoid driver, Stepper Motor Driver, DC motor driver, high current LED driver and Relay driver.

This kit will allow you to record and play a 20 second voice message stored in it. This circuit is based on APR9301 IC from Aplus. The kit includes all components required for the project accept a speaker, power supply and cabinet. Please check the components supplied to you as per the BOM Bill of Material listed in this document. The kit PCB is RoHS Compliant and components legends clearly printed on the PCB. The kit provides two ways to record voice message, viz i) via a Stereo Socket marked CN1 on PCB or ii) On board MICrophone Capsule. Jumper marked J1 on the PCB would select either of these two modes for you. On board preset PR1 will adjust the sampling rate of Playback and record option for this kit. One important thing to remember is that , if you increase the sampling rate, the duration of message will reduce and viceversa. To Record: To record a voice message on to the Kit, you need to keep REC Switch SW1 pressed. Recording will stop when you release this switch or at the end of the memory location on this IC. LED D1 will indicate a recording in progress. To Play: To play the message, just press and release PLAY SW2 marked on the kit. The message would play and stop for the duration it was recorded. A speaker (8 ~ 16 ) is to be connected at at SPK connector marked on the PCB. A supply between 8 ~ 10V DC should be connected at connector marked J2 on the PCB. Polarity is printed on the PCB. This circuit is protected against reverse polarity connection by diode (D2). U2 is a 7805 regulator which provides a regulated supply to the kit. For datasheet of APR9301, please visit the manufacturer's website at www.aplus.com Please refer to the schematic diagram for the configuration of this board. The kit includes all components required for the project accepts power supply, speaker and cabinet. Please check the components supplied to you as per the BOM Bill of Material listed in this document. Component legends and In/Out port pins are clearly printed on the PCB.

16SEC VOICE RECORD PLAYBACK

Record any no of massages up to 20 seconds in the silicon chip, recorded massage retained up to 100 years without power, 100000 record cycles, on chip Clock source, automatic power down enters in standby mode immediately following a record or playback cycle, high quality, natural Voice reproduction make this Kit versatile. Supply Voltage 5V DC and stand by current 12mA with LED, in play mode current consumption 115mA, during recording it draws 26mA. Speaker 16 Ohms, onboard MIC, Record and Play controls. PCB dimension 59 X 67 mmSwitch1/Play E: (by pressing this switch) it initiates a new playback operation from the beginning of the massage. Switch 2 /Play L: holding this switch (keep pressing) initiate a playback cycle from beginning of the massage, until Play L pulled off, playback operations stops and the device automatically powers down. Switch3/Record: when this switch is pressed. Recording starts and LED D1 glow, its stop recording by pulling the switch off or when the recording is completed due to the memory being filled. This kit will help you record and play a 60 seconds voice message stored on it. This circuit is based on APR9600 IC from Aplus. The kit provides four different modes of voice message to be recorded and played, viz i) MOD8 60 seconds is equally dived in 8 equal segments , ii) MOD4 60 Seconds is equally divided in four equal segments, iii) MOD2 60 Seconds is equally divided in two equal segments and iv) Tape Mode Entire 60 segment is available in a single shot mode. There are two different ways to record a voice message onto the chip viz. i) Stereo Socket marked CN1 on PCB or ii) On board MICrophone Capsule. Jumper marked J1 on the PCB would select either of these two modes for you. Marked position A would select the Stereo Socket and M would select Onboard MICrophone Capsule. On board preset PR1 will adjust the sampling rate of Playback and record option for this IC and VR1 would adjust the volume level of the playback audio. One important thing to remember is that, if you increase the sampling rate, the duration of message will reduce and vice-versa. Recording a Message: To record a message, please select the right mode at Jumper J2 and J3. The modes are clearly marked on the PCB and Jump or no-jump positions are also marked. Also select the source for recording through J1. PR2 allows you to control the recording level of the Input signal at CN1 to the IC. Keep the sampling rate preset PR1 in the middle position to test a sample of the recorded message. Increasing the sampling rate will decrease the total amount of recording time and vice-versa. MODES: MOD8 - This Mod allows you to record a message in 8 equal location available through switches S1 to S8. To record a message in any on of these location, you need to keep the Record Switch Pressed with one finger and the segment switch pressed. A PiP sound will play through the speaker to denote recording start. Recording will end when you release both these keys or when it reaches the end of the segment. Another PiP would sound to denote the end of recording. Switches marked S1 to S8 are available in this mode. MOD4 - The procedure is the same as described above in MOD8, and the keys available in this mode are S1 to S4. MOD2 - The procedures is the same as described above in MOD8, and the keys available in this mode are S1 and S2 Tape Mode - The procedure is the same as described above in MOD8, and only S1 key is available in this mode. Playing a Message: Connect a appropriate speaker at LS1, For playing a recorded message you just need to press and release any of the switch available in that particular mode once. The play of message is also indicated by the flashing of LED, D2. VR1 will adjust the volume of the played message. Reset Switch: This switch is used to reset the EOM, End of Message marker position to the start of the message in the Tape Mode of operation.
