It’s Not to Late to sign up for the Christ Renews His Parish Retreats! Women’s retreat is January 21 & 22 at St. John Parish. All women of the Cluster are invited. For more information on the men’s retreat, please contact Deacon Mike and Pam Whitters. Holy Family Cluster App: We are excited to announce the release of a new mobile app for our Cluster. The app is available for download in the Android and Apple stores. The app is a new and effective way for the Cluster and parishes to communicate with you and for you to stay connected with the parish. sent to the High School seniors from Sacred Heart and St. John’s who have

attended Faith Formation classes, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Guidance

Counselor and Eagle Grove Scholarship person, Nikki Rick. If you have any

Noodle Making: We are making noodles for the fair on Monday, January 16th.

Dough makers will start at 8 am and the rollers are needed at 9 am. Since

there is no school that day we have asked students to come and help. They are

asked to arrive at 9:30 am. Please come and help if you can.

Gospel Reflection: A light for all

We have always been intrigued by the wonders of space and the light of the

stars above. It is no wonder that God, in his infinite goodness and wisdom, used

this symbol as his instrument to reveal his Son as light of the world—a light

meant to be shared by all people, both Jew and Gentile. This is the story of

Epiphany—the story of the Magi following a star to find Jesus born in a Jewish

town but meant to be the Savior to all people. This feast proclaims the universal

salvation and love of God for all that became incarnate in the Word made flesh.

It is the challenge and reminder to all of us to accept this truth and share in the

manifestation of the love and light of Christ to all in our world.
