Efficacy. Why to implement?

Normally detection of faultlocation takes the majority offault liquidation time

When the FPI are integrated into GIS monitoring system, fault localization takes just 2 minutes

When there is only a visual indication, fault localization is 3-4 times faster

Total interruption duration (SAIDI) is reduced by 1.5-3 times

Fault management system helps reducing the wear of switching equipment: number of switches made during a faultlocalization is 15 times lower

If the Intelligent Disconnector is a part of the system, the number of deenergized customers (SAIFI) is 1,5 times lower

System architecture

KOMORSAN consists of:

Data collecting and processing server DataBase Komorsan Web-client software

Data processing server collects datafrom sensors via industrial protocols IEC60870–5-104 and ModBus.

Data exchange with externalsystems/SCADA integration is performedvia IEC 60870–5-104

In case of fault KOMORSAN systemlaunches the audible alarm and displaysthe place of a fault on a map andnotifies maintenance crew via SMS andE-mail.
