Milan, July 5, 2011 - Piergiorgio Mangialardi, partner and chief operating officer of Antoitalia Hospitality, has been appointed director of the Masters Five Stars in Hotel Management for the fourth consecutive year. Promoted and co-ordinated by ForteVillage Resort Sardegna, and by the Rome-based Luiss business school, this masters course was inaugurated in 2008, and remains the only specialised postgraduate training course of its kind in Italy. Its main objective is to create highly-skilled professionals in the hospitality industry, who are able to bring all their managerial competence to the complex organization typical of international luxury hotels and resorts. In November 2011 the fourth edition of the course will start. Applications are open until September 30, 2011, and grants are available to cover part of the tuition fees. The masters course is held full-time from November 2011 to October 2012, over an eleven- month period, broken down into five months of class teaching and a six-month internship at a high-end hotel or resort, in Italy or abroad. The course has a maximum intake of 24 students, selected from Italian and foreign candidates, with either a university degree or relevant experience in the hospitality industry. Classes are held at the Hotel Business School established by Forte Village Resort, located at Pula (in the province of Cagliari, Sardinia), in a modern set ting on a fully equipped campus. Piergiorgio Mangialardi, Antoitalia Hospitality’s partner and the director of the Masters Five Stars course, boasts over 10-years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He has worked as a hotel manager, as well as a professional advisor on tourism and hospitality projects for clients such as Sviluppo Italia Turismo, Beni Stabili, Patron Capital UK, NH Hoteles, Serenissima SGR, CHC Hotels, and many others. Furthermore, he has many years ofspecialist expertise and experience in hospitality training.
