EMT's may work on ambulances, in hospitals, for the fire depart- ments, law enforcement agencies, and in the military. EMT's provide treatment and transport to ill or injured paents. Instruction and hands-on practice to acquire skills to assist physi-
cians. Includes vital signs, surgical procedures, medical office lab

leting, and ambulating patients. Upon successful comple-
tion of the course, the student will
also be eligible to take the National
