Childhood Adams was also interested
in music and he taught himself how to play piano and read notes at the age of 12.
Adams was a hyperactive child with few friends. Kicked out from many schools for bad behavior, he was educated by private tutors and members of his family from the age of 12.
Childhood The great earthquake in
1906 broke his nose marking him for life.
He spent his childhood days playing outside where he gained his appreciation for nature, which is now his primary source of inspiration.
Start of photography careerAt age 17 Adams started working at Yosemite National Park as a custodian. His interest in photography while he was there.
Adams participated in the clubs (LeConte Memorial Lodge) annual outing becoming the clubs official photographer.
