From the Principal’s Desk

Dr. Jatinder Bir SinghPrincipal

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce takes pride in being a premier institution of the University of Delhi. We continue to strive to forge ahead in the pursuit of excellence in all walks of life.

Our accomplishments bear testimony to the fact that our persistent strives have helped build a conducive environment for our students to achieve soaring heights. We continue to hold the belief that the role of an educational institute is to nurture young minds who are the assets of our nation. This nourishment is to be provided by exposing them to avenues of attaining academic excellence along with exposure to wholesome cultural experiences, ensuing a physically enriching environment with opportunities to intelligently demonstrate their knowledge and skills.

Every year, we take stock of our achievements and shortcomings as well as our challenges and aspirations through the compilation of our year book. In chronicling all academic and cultural achievements of our students and faculty we learn useful lessons for the path ahead. We also find great satisfaction in presenting our laurels and acknowledging the ef-forts. This year given the present pandemic situation the possibility of a physical meeting and presentation being unviable, we present our proud accomplishments in the form of this report for the session 2019-20.

Needless to say, our ever-supportive governing body, able and experienced faculty, bright and brilliant students and a capable team of non-teaching staff have all played an import-ant role in all our achievements.
