The Executive Committee has pleasure in presenting its 20th Annual Report on the Activitiesof the Association for the Advancement of the Deprived (AAD) for the year ended on March 31, 2010.
The 19th Annual General Meeting of the AAD was held on July 29, 2009 at Hotel Sri Nanak Continental, Karol Bagh, New Delhi and following members were present:

Election for the 19th executive committee was held on July 29, 2009 at AGM and the following were elected unanimously in accordance with the provisions of the Rules and Regulations of the AAD.

An informative Souvenir “SAMARPAN 2009” was released on the occasion of the Annual Function on October 30, 2010. More than 1000 copies of the Souvenir have been printed and distributed to all the members, contacts and various schools, etc.
With the objective to recognize contribution of Educationists and or Social workers who have been serving the community for the cause of better education with their unflinching efforts and dedication; AAD with due respect honours these personalities with its prestigious honour “AAD AWARD” and “AAD APPREICIATION AWARD”. This is our endeavor to record dedicated continuous support and work of our educationists / donors / advisors / contributors. Since its inception, AAD time-to-time teaching / support staff of various schools helps in organization of various educational activities of the AAD. Their timely and dedicated support to the AAD will be remembered. As such, all the members of AAD feel proud in honouring such personalities.

Association for the Advancement of the Deprived (AAD) organized the India Education Quiz Contest for Students of Class IX - XII on August 07, 2009 in association with Kansas State
University (India Office) and American Soya Bean Association at Hindi Bhawan - Delhi.
Brouchers were circulated to more than 200 Schools in Delhi and NCR region for promoting the Quiz Contest among students where KSU-India Office and American Soybean Association
were the event sponsors. In addition, Ms. Dolly personally visited more than 50 schools. A very good response received.

Presentation of Kansas State University was given by Ms Sunita Anand for the awareness of the university. Brochures were given to all the participants and accompanied teachers and Parents.
Executive Committee organized 3 interaction programs for its members during the year.

Cooperation from other OrganizationThe Executive Committee wishes to place on records appreciation of the cooperation received from different schools, donors, advisors, advertisers who have helped in organizing the activities of the AAD.
The work of the AAD continues to receive recognition as an all Delhi Institution engaged in working for upliftment of the deprived students. This was possible due to cohesive functioning of the AAD and with fullest cooperation of members of AAD and timely guidance and cooperation from our advisors.
