Conference Program Learning Outcomes

• Develop an understanding of the attributes of visual literacy inorder to facilitate image retrieval in an increasingly image-drivenenvironment.

• Develop an understanding of the definitions and standards forvisual and information literacy in order to identify pedagogical methodsfor teaching in an environment where words and images convey importantmeanings.

• Be able to articulate learning outcomes for teaching thatincorporate elements of both visual and information literacy.
