Dear colleague
This gives me a great pleasure to extend a warm invitation to participate in annual conference of Indian society of gastroenterology (U P Chapter) and Mid term conference of society of gastrointestinal endoscopy of India (SGEI) in sprawling Asia's largest residential campus of Banaras Hindu University at holy city of Varanasi. This university is almost a century old and one of the ancient centre of learning founded by great visionary and scholar Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya .
Varanasi is one of the oldest living city of the world and abode of lord Shiva. This is the city where Lord Buddha gave first serman after his enlightenment. The soil of the place was made pious by Great Tulsidas, Saint Kabir, Sant Ravidas, Raja Harishchandra and many others. This city has honour of having many Bharat ratnas like Lal Bahadur Shastri, Ustad Bismillah Khan and Pt Ravi Shanker. Varanasi has unique distinction as centre of art, culture and learning hence regarded as the cultural capital of India.
This conference will address to various issues in field of digestive endoscopy in particular and digestive diseases in general. Many leading experts are going to be the faculty in this conference. I am sure this meeting would provide platform to interact with leading faculty to update the knowledge and skill, which would help us to treat our patients in a much better way.
