ONE BOOK + ONE DIOCESE This fall the Evangelization Office is recommending Unbound: A Practical Guide to Deliverance by Neal Lozano – an excellent read for continued spiritual growth with tools drawn from the Gospels and his years of experience in deliverance ministry. This book has already helped many in the diocese to overcome spiritual battles, sins, and anxieties. For more information about the book as well as the Unbound Ministry in our diocese, go to www.lincolndiocese.org/evangelization-formation/unbound- ministry. For groups interested in using this as a study, book study leaders can be recommended. Contact Matt Simmons at [email protected]. ALL SOUL’S DAY - All Souls Day is a solemn feast in the Roman Catholic Church commemorating all of those who have died and now are in Purgatory, being cleansed of their venial sins and the temporal punishments for the mortal sins that they had confessed and are atoning before entering fully into Heaven. If you would like your loved ones remembered on All Soul’s Day, please place their names on the All Soul’s Day envelope mailed in your packet or on one of the envelopes in the back of church and turn in before All Soul’s Day. If you would like separate Masses said for those listed on your envelope, you may include Mass stipends in that envelope. The regular Mass stipend in our Diocese is $10. On the other hand, what comes from the spirit of evil brings sadness, trouble, agitation, worry, confusion, and darkness. These marks of the good and the evil spirit are unmistakable signs in themselves. - Fr.
