What a privilege to be directing a show at the beautiful, historic Crighton The-atre! The city of Conroe should take great pride in this theatre that throughout the past 40 years has brought so much high quality entertainment to its audiences.

I would like to thank Carolyn and Steve Wong for making ANNIE such a great, fun-filled experience for me. The more I work with them, the more I admire and respect their dedication to bringing such fine shows to this theatre - shows that the entire family can enjoy attending.

A huge thank you goes to the Board of Directors of STAGE RIGHT for making this show an outstanding experience for myself, Robin, Ana, Sabrae and Audrey (our superb pianist).

Jim Bingham has been a God-send. Not only does he do a superb job running this theatre, he builds fantastic sets and works many of the technical aspects of the shows. He has been here to help us every step of the way. Bless you!

Sabrae, I have known you since you were a five year old orphan in the Crigh-ton’s first production of ANNIE, eleven years ago. What a fantastic, talented young lady you have become. You did a great job helping in so many ways.

Ana, you are the best musical director in the world. We owe you a great deal of gratitude for everything you have contributed to this show. You have such a delightful, kind way of working with the singers as you teach them the songs and harmonies, and your orchestra is outstanding. We love you!

Jenny, I must say-New York City’s loss was our gain! Thank you so much for joining the cast and helping us present such a fine musical. This is an incredible pleasure for me to be doing a show with my very special young friend, whom I met 15 years ago at my first ANNIE audition! You are the Best!

Mason, this must be about our 25th show working together. You are always there for me! I love you!

In life, we are fortunate if God sends us a few really true friends. When I was asked to direct ANNIE I immediately called Robin and asked her to help me. Thank God she agreed, because everyone involved has adored Robin from the moment we began rehearsals. She is talented, experienced, and knowledgeable concerning every aspect of theatre. Robin is the Magic of Theatre! Better yet, she is my best friend!

We appreciate you, the audience, for coming out to support live theatre. In the words of the immortal George M. Cohen: my mother thanks you, my father thanks you, and as for me...that goes without saying!

Sincere regards,Tina Cafeo

PHILCLARKE (Roosevelt,Man 4, NewYorkersandMansionStaff) has appeared in many stage productions while attending USL. Since moving to Houston, TX in 2003, Phil has enjoyed writing, di-recting and/or performing for the stage. Phil wishes to thank STAGE RIGHT for this wonderful opportu-nity to play FDR and to work with such a talented and fun cast.

REBECCACLARKE(Mrs.Pugh) has been acting and dancing on the stage since I was 4 years old, starting as a Dew Fairy in the opera, Hansel and Gretel. Most of the 15+ musicals that I performed in were with the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, LA. My favorite roles were Brigetta in The Sound of Music, because I was able to perform with my moth-er who played the Baroness and Lily Sabina in By the Skin of Our Teeth. Except for brief performances in college and on the Children’s Ministry music and drama teams at the Woodlands Church, this is my first time back in a full production. However, my kids have caught the acting bug and perform regularly with the CYT group of Houston. Rebecca is married to Phil Clarke, who plays FDR, and has 3 children, aged 14, 8 (Lena is in the Orphan Chorus) and 3 years old.

CAMERONCOLLIER (BertHealy / Eddie /Hall)is a senior at Spring High School. He has appeared in other plays and musicals at school and in Hous-ton theatres. I would like to thank everyone at the Crighton for opening their arms to me and being so easy to work with and the creative team for giving me this role that I adore. Thank you to all of my fam-ily, friends, and teachers who have come out to see me. I especially want to thank Megan Turnbull for the rides and for making this experience a magical way to spend our last summer together.

PEYTONCRENSHAW(July) is 9 years old and is a home educated fourth grader. Peyton has been dancing since she was 5 years old. She studied at Excelsior School of Dance in Conroe, Texas for four years. Discovering CYT brought Peyton her first ex-perience in Musical Theater, with the stage produc-tion of Annie Jr. (spring 2009). Next came Aladdin (Fall 2009), followed by Seussical Jr. (Winter 2010), Cinderella (Spring 2010) and now back full circle with STAGE RIGHT’s production of Annie (Spring 2010)! Peyton is blessed to have the support of her family and friends and is excited to be sharing the stage with her big brother, Steffan. She would like to thank her parents for the sacrifices made so she could ‘live her passion’. Her performance is dedi-cated to her hero (he knows who he is). “My last thank you goes to the most important person in my life, Jesus!”

CORIDALTON(Pepper) is a sixteen year old home schooler from Kingwood. She is a 3rd year musical theatre student at Lake Houston Performing Arts Center where she is currently a student assistant

Cast and Crew Biographiestap instructor. This is Cori’s first performance with STAGE RIGHT, but she has performed with several theatres around Houston. Previous roles include Willy Wonka (Violet Beauregaurde), High School Musical (cheerleader), Cinderella (featured waltz dancer), and Scrooge the Musical (Fezziwig daugh-ter). After high school Cori plans to attend college and medical school to become a doctor.

ALLIEDARNELL(LonnieBoylan,Servant) is an 8th grade homeschool student. She has been in-volved in theater for less than a year, but loves it. Who knew back when she was little and her parents would pay her a quarter to go sing somewhere else because she sang so off key, that she would eventu-ally develop a real talent for the stage. She has per-formed in CYT’s Seussical Jr. and Cinderella. She has really enjoyed being a part of the Annie cast and being able to share the stage with her brother, Robert. She would like to thank her mom & dad for spending their summer at the Crighton.

ROBERTDARNELL(AssistantDogCatcher) is a 4th grade homeschool student. Annie is his first on-stage theater experience. He mastered the talent of ushering during CYT’s Seussical Jr and Cinderella, and has decided that being a part of the cast is defi-nitely more fun, even if it means giving up your sum-mer evenings for rehearsals. He would like to say a special thank you to his friend, Steffan Crenshaw, for showing him the ropes of theater life, and his sis-ter, Allie, for all her patience in learning the songs & dance moves - she’s the BEST!

SPENCER ESKRIDGE (Lt. Ward / Morganthau) will be a senior at Klein Oak High School. He has been featured in a number of High School shows as well as Playhouse 1960’s productions. He aspires to become a director on stage and behind the camera. Spencer would like to thank Robin Galley for extend-ing the offer of the role of the “Cop” in this production of Annie to him! “You watch me, just watch me. I’m calling. I’m calling and one day all will know.” -Mel-chior Gabor

KELSEYFORE(Annette) is always thrilled to ap-pear on the Crighton stage. Her excitement for the theater is contagious. She has had such fun work-ing with some familiar castmates as well as some new ones. She has been involved with the Crighton Kidz for several years and with STAGE RIGHT for a year. She has performed on-stage at the Crighton and Owen Theatres. She is actively involved with the mime team at her church. Many thanks to her family and friends for their support. She is going to be a junior at Covenant Christian.

LAURENGALLEY(Pepper) will be a junior at Klein Oak next fall. She has been involved in theater since she was 4 years old and is thrilled to be playing the role of Pepper. The last time she was in Annie she played the role of Molly!

Page 10: Annie - Stage Right Resources

ASHLEY GIBSON (Molly) is very excited to be starring as the youngest orphan Molly with STAGE RIGHT! This is Ashley’s second time being in Annie and is thrilled to play the part of the sneakiest little orphan! She enjoys singing and dancing on stage while making some new great friends! Some of her hobbies include gymnastics, piano, and swimming; however her heart is with the arts!

MACKENZIEGOODE (Wacky / Marine) is proud to be back onstage with STAGE RIGHT. Macken-zie was last seen in the BooTown Houston Fringe Festival in Andrew Kozma’s Oedipus and the Sphinx (Theben Chorus). With STAGE RIGHT he was Tiny Tim in Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge. Other Credits include The Homecoming (Birdshot), M*A*S*H (Ho-Jon), Miracle on 34th Street (Jim) and Romeo and Harriet (Mercutio).

SABRAEGRACIA (Star to be) is thrilled to be a part of this production of Annie. She has been in-volved in theatre since the ripe age of five and has plans to study the art at St. Edward’s University in Austin. Her most favorite roles include Elizabeth in And They Dance Real Slow in Jackson, June in The Anatomy of Grey, Tessie in Annie, Gretel in The Sound of Music, Rosemary in Picnic, Bielke in Fid-dler on the Roof, and most of all Conchita in Anna and the Tropics. She’d like to thank her directors, friends, and family for all of their support, dedication, and love. Enjoy the show.

HOPEHARRIS(Annie) is a 12 year old student at McMeans Junior High in Katy. She has been singing since she won a Radio Disney Singing Competition in 2005. Some of the events she has performed at, either solo or with the Sugarland Express Singers, are the Galveston Rodeo, Fort Bend County Fair, and Katy Rice Harvest Festival. She made her musi-cal theater debut at Playhouse 1960 in the Produc-tion of Willy Wonka Jr., where she played Violet. She also has participated at Playhouse 1960 in their Boo Revue, the production of Alice in Wonderland Jr., where she played the caterpillar, and Annie Jr. where she played Annie/Star to Be. Hope would like to thank Tina Ca-feo and STAGE RIGHT for giving her the opportunity to relive the magic one last time.

JENNY HOOFNAGLE (Connie Boylan, Perkins) is happy to be returning to the stage in her second production of Annie at the Crighton Theatre. Jenny began acting as July in Annie in 1995 at Playhouse 1960. Jenny is an alumnus of New York Universi-ty, Tisch School of the Arts, where she majored in Drama. At NYU Jenny studied at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute and Playwrights Horizons Theater School. Jenny has performed in countless productions in Houston and New York City. Some fa-vorite roles include Erma in Anything Goes, Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet and Eponine in Les Miserables. Jenny would like to thank her family for their uncon-ditional love and support and Tina and Manny Cafeo for always believing in her.

OLIVIA HOLLEY (Kate) New to the stage, Olivia Holley is excited to be playing Kate in this production of Annie. Her debut was as a Who in CYT’s recent 2010 production of Seussical. Many productions are sure to be in her future as she is quite the ham. Hap-pily though, she doesn’t squeal as her voice comes across the stage as clear and melodic as a lark.

KYLEE MICHELLE HUDDLESTON (RonnieBoylan) is attending Sam Houston University for a degree in Athletic Training and a minor in 2D Art. She has danced since she was three with various dance studios, such as Backstage Dance Studio, and Wilsons Center of Performing Arts, as well as teaching tap for them in 2007. She has been in Flap-per and Kokonut Kapers with the Crighton Kidz, and various Missoula productions. Ginger(Sandy) I’m pleased to be making my theatrical de-but on the historic Crighton stage. I worked with a trainer to ensure that is all that I do on the stage! My owners divorced and both decided not to keep me. I’m glad; they didn’t take care of me very well. I was taken to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter and on that very same day two orphans just like me decided I should be the star of their show: Annie. I now have a

new forever home where I am loved and taken care of. Please don’t buy some pent up puppy-mill pooch off the side of the road; there is a star waiting for you at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter (www.mcaspets.org).
