12 ECB Monetary financial institutions and markets statistics sector manual – Guidance for the statistical classification of customers March 2007 1 By convention in the IT systems, it can be specified that these international organisations are located in Switzerland, United States, United Arab Emirates, Sierra Leone, Colombia, Senegal and Cameroon respectively. However, owing to their status as international organisations they are not residents of the mentioned countries.
