Anne Street Partners is a leading, privately owned Australian wealth advisory firm. We exist to help our clients achieve their financial and lifestyle goals through the creation and protection of their wealth.

The Anne Street Partners business was established in 1997 and since then we’ve gone on to provide advice and guidance to over 5,000 Australians from all walks of life - many of whom would have never previously considered using a financial adviser or developing a financial plan.

As a privately owned organisation, Anne Street Partners operates a non-aligned structure; we are not owned by any bank or other institutional entity. This operating model is deliberately structured to help facilitate an unbiased and impartial approach to developing a tailored financial strategy for each individual’s circumstances.

Using our inhouse specialists and drawing from a wide panel of professionals, our speciality is our ability to leverage these synergies to create opportunities and efficiencies that in many circumstances are simply out of reach for some mainstream financial planning providers.

We aim to develop a comprehensive, tailored financial approach that is specifically designed to each individual’s goals and objectives. Our approach considers each client’s circumstances on their own merits and we utilise our efficient, integrated service model to deliver a greater overall result.

The Honourable Shane L. StoneGroup ChairmanAC, PGDK, QC, LL.B (Melb), B.A. (ANU), G. Dip Ed Admin (Adel), Dip.Tchg (Sturt), FAIM, FAICD, FACE, Hon Life Member LAWASIA, Barrister & Solicitor Vic, NT, NSW & Tasmania; High Court of Australia), Dip. Financial Planning (AQTF accredited), F Fin (Fellow Financial Services Institute of Australia).

Shane was appointed Chairman in 2009 by UK based majority shareholder, Mayfair Limited. Over the past decade and prior to his involvement with Mayfair, Shane has at various times acted as a non-executive independent director of various public and private companies across a range of industry sectors including resource commodities, wine, information technology and financial services. Shane was formerly a Barrister (Melbourne Bar) and a senior legal practitioner in the Northern Territory.

In Government, Shane held most economic portfolios as well as Attorney General and Chief Minister of the Northern Territory and later served as the Federal President of the Liberal Party of Australia. Shane has spent the last decade back in the private sector.

Michael joined Anne Street Partners in 2009 as Corporate Counsel and in 2010 was appointed Managing Director and Group CEO. Michael is an honours graduate from Bond University Law School in Queensland and is an accredited specialist in Property Law with the Queensland Law Society. He is a former Adjunct Teaching Fellow at Bond University Law School specialising in Land Law, Property Law, Corporations Law and legal drafting, a post he held for nine years. He was also an occasional guest lecturer for the Queensland Law Society on Land and Property Law.

Prior to joining Anne Street Partners, Michael worked in private practice as a legal practitioner, Queensland. He has acted for various Australian banks and other financial institutions preparing, executing and enforcing contractual agreements and securities. Michael brings to Anne Street Partners a strong background in banking, finance and prudential regulation.

Melinda SheppardGroup Chief Financial OfficerB.Econ (Macquarie), Master ACC (CQU) and CPA

Melinda was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Anne Street Partners in 2012. Prior to this role, Melinda was employed as Finance Director and Company Secretary of Ninemsn Pty Ltd and its subsidiaries. Melinda joined Ninemsn in 1998 and moved through the roles of Financial Accountant and Financial Manager before moving into her executive role of Finance Director and Company Secretary in 2008. Melinda has also held Board directorships of a number of digital start up companies.

Melinda is a CPA qualified professional with over 15 years experience in financial management, financial analysis, business planning and implementing process improvements that improve business growth.

Melinda was nominated for the Telstra Business Woman’s Award in 2014.

Jason DunnGeneral Manager, Strategy & DistributionMApp Fin (FP)

Jason joined Anne Street Partners in February 2015. He comes with nearly 30 years of finance industry experience and 20 years of senior executive and leadership experience.

Prior to joining Anne Street Partners, Jason was Head of St.George, Bank of Melbourne and Bank SA Financial Planning. During his five-year career at Westpac Banking Group, he successfully implemented and delivered many programs as National Westpac Financial Planning Client Value Program Director and State Head of Westpac Business Financial Planning.

As General Manager, Strategy & Distribution, Jason will develop and drive national client service offering programs and key stakeholder relationships, whilst nurturing a team culture of accountability and excellence.

Jason’s personal achievements include multiple Ironman triathlons, including the Hawaii Ironman World Championships. He is also a motivational speaker, who shares his inspirational journey of fears, failures, sacrifices and lessons.

Lisa HayesGeneral CounselHead of Legal, Risk & ComplianceBEcon, DipLaw

Lisa joined Anne Street Partners in December 2014 as General Counsel, Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance. She joins the business with 20 years of experience developed in various legal roles in private practice and the Australian wealth management industry. Lisa has been instrumental in implementing legal and compliance requirements including the Future of Financial Advice (FoFA) reforms. She also comes to Anne Street Partners with extensive experience in corporate governance and litigation.

Prior to joining Anne Street Partners, Lisa held senior Legal and Compliance positions with Centric Wealth, Perpetual and Henry Davis York Lawyers. She brings a considerable breadth of commercial acumen and experience to this strategically important role as we implement best practise across the Group.

Dean RosarioNational Manager, SMSFBBus (B&F), DipFS (FP), JP (Qual)

Dean is one of Anne Street Partners longest serving employees, having joined Anne Street Partners in September 2006. He transitioned from the position of Insurance Adviser to National Manager Super Solutions, a position he has held for over six years now. Along with his highly dedicated team, Dean is passionate about providing an exemplary level of service in the provision of SMSF administration to Anne Street Partners’ clients. During his career at Anne Street Partners, Dean counts one of his key highlights as the successful engagement of several in house accountants to support the SMSF team and provide personal tax services in late 2012.

Prior to starting at Anne Street Partners, Dean worked as a Sales Consultant for Telstra whilst he completed his business degree in banking and finance.

Adam FolaHead of RealtyDipFS (FP), Licensed Real Estate Agent in QLD, NSW, VIC,TAS,SA,WA & NT

Adam joined Anne Street Partners in 2007 and brings with him a combination of nearly 10 years of Real Estate and Financial Services experience throughout Australia. He has extensive experience in leading a diverse range of staff across all areas of Anne Street Partners, including the role of State Manager for Queensland and Northern Territory.

As Head of Realty, Adam’s role extends to managing all aspects of the Anne Street Partners property business. This includes the ongoing development, training and support of our internal Real Estate Consultant and State teams; fostering key stakeholder relationships; and formulating strategic, long-term plans that meet our ambitious client experience and business objectives.
