PROFILE
EXPERIENCE - PRIVATE PRACTICE
I am a qualifi ed architect with over 11 years of professional experience. I have worked in both London and the Midlands on a wide range of projects. My experience has included large scale commercial architecture for which I have been responsible for the design and running of, both in the UK and abroad.
I also have hands on experience with domestic projects working with residential clients on new builds, conversions, sustainable builds and refurbishments. I have a special interest in environmental design and
always seek to integrate this into projects where possible.
PRIVATE WORK // UK // 2011-Present
Since 2011 I have undertaken private domestic work whilst building up the foundations for Manning Holden Architects. Projects have
primarily been based in the Peak District and London and included
new build residential, conversions, extensions, refurbishments and alterations.

• Local public house refurbishment & extension in the Peak District
• Conversion of a listed building into family accommodation, Derbyshire

I have also undertaken domestic work on a contract basis for the following companies:

From October 2011 until early 2012, I undertook contract work for a
small North London fi rm. Here I worked on hi-spec residential jobs around London. Work ranged from design to production information
and involved the design of bespoke furniture.
HTA Architects // London // 2011
From May 2011 until October 2011 I undertook contract work for HTA Architects. Here I undertook Production Information Packages for
160 new homes in South Acton.

Working on energy effi cient and zero carbon projects. Schemes

• New build eco homes, Northampton, for Metropolitan Housing
Trust.

• Knutton Village Farm for Staffordshire County Council.
• New-build prefabricated Eco House, Dunkirk, France.

One month contract running a team in the Beijing offi ce. My role was concept designer for Daquing Train Station. I took a month
leave from Zed Factory after being invited by Malaysian architect
Ken Yeang for this exciting opportunity.
