Tigers by SuzyTigers have reddish-orange fur with dark stripes. They have long tails that help them keep their balance.
Tigers eat meat. They usually hunt alone in the dark. Tigers can eat as much as 60 lbs of meat in one night but usually they eat around 12 lbs a meal.
Tigers live solitary lives. They know when they have entered another tiger’s territory because each tiger marks the trees in their area with urine and scratches.
Tigers are in jeopardy in their natural habitats because of overhunting and loss of habitat from human land use.
