• Chinese writing dates back to about 3,500 years ago. It is a combination of phonemes and pictographs.

Great Wall of China

• The Great Wall of China was built over 2,000 years ago by Qin Shi Huangdi. It is one of the largest building construction projects ever completed. It is 4,000 miles long, 25 feet tall, and 4.5 to 9 meters wide.

Confucius

• Confucius was a very wise man. He was not very well known when he was alive, but today he is the most well-known person in Ancient China. He said, “What you do not want done to yourself do not to others.”
