Anand Institute of Management was established in the year of 2004 to meet the ever increasing demand for managers. The first batch of managers came out in 2006. I am pleased to present before you the placement brochure for the year 2013-14 for our
two year full-time Master of Business Administration Program.
Rapid economic growth and very aggressive technological advancement is bringing
about change in the requirements of the corporate world and expectations of the society
at an unexpected rate. The role of management school is to create a pool of professionals
capable of foreseeing future challenges and convert them in to an opportunity.
AIM has been focusing on on-the-job skills, by putting the students first through a thorough
Summer Internship Program and then by orienting them on a number of projects and case
studies. The course has components which require them to work on the field, and base their
findings on facts and figures gathered by their own work.
I take great pride in introducing to you the batch of 2012-2014. They have been shaped
on values of excellence, ethics and inclusive growth. Our students are endowed with zeal
for knowledge and keenness to serve your organization and the society at large.
I invite your esteemed organization to visit AIM, interact with our management students

nd 2 rank among the 85 institutes in the very first time exam
held by GTU.
st 1 Rank in SPI (Semester Performance Index), among the
110 institutions of state of Gujarat.
More than 75% of students secured SPI greater than 7.
Ms. Aarti Ravat, a student of AIM, stood among the top 5 students from 110 institutions.
Students have participated in NOKIA GOA FEST, and ndsecured 2 prize in the competition.
3 students have participated in “Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega” on Sony T.V.

CLASSROOM
Traditionally, an enclosure with four walls
constitute the hub of imparting education.
Separate classrooms are provided for focused
discussions, interactive study sessions, role plays,
presentations, case studies and strategy
implementation sessions.
KNOWLEDGE ROOM
The library is equipped with more than 9500
books, titling to various different disciplines is an
asset to the institute. It also subscribes for
periodicals, journals, magazines, and research
material covering all aspects of management
studies, in addition to corporate annual reports.
INFORMATION ROOM
It is the era of information systems, which have
taken management to a higher level. This form of
information exchange is supported by a
computer lab. Our institute has more than 60
computers for techno-savvy personalities which
is allotted on one-to-one basis to create
effectiveness and results in efficiency. Internet
connections, multimedia presentations, audio-
video system for each class are its star
attractions.
HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION
After a hectic day’s schedule, the students find a
comfortable look to rest and rejuvenate
themselves for the challenges of the next day in
the well-appointed hostel rooms. The campus has
full-fledged hostel facilities for girls and boys.

Life on campus is always imperfect without a
canteen. Considering, this fact we have tried
to make a students life an ideal one by
including a canteen into our physical layout.
The canteen caters to tea, snacks, soft drinks,
lunch and other needs of the students.
MEDICAL HELP
As well said “Health is Wealth”, to take care
about health of the students, regular medical
check-up is organized.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT
Industrial visit is one of the events of MBA
programme to establish industry institute
relationship along with a big advantage of
learning. The industrial visit helps the students
to develop their horizon of thinking about how
organization performs its operations.
Students can gain mileage through their
observations during such events.

EXTRA CURRICULUM
Institute encourages the student’s talents
through extra activities like sports and
cultural day celebration. Students have
represented college in many different
institutions like IIM Ahmedabad Confluence
2008, SIRAJ 2008 at S.K. Patel Institute of
Management & Partibha 2012 at Ganpat
University. AIM organizes its own cultural day
and sports day to make the students all
rounder.
AUDITORIUM
We as an education institute comprehend our
responsibility of being a platform for
disseminating information which comes about
in the state-of-art auditorium we have.
SEMINAR AND ANNUAL FUNCTION
AIM every year conducts the national level
seminar where students are given an
opportunity to present their papers relating
to Marketing, Finance, IT and H.R. The
seminars enhance the various qualities of the
students and allow them to take part and
complete with others college students.
AIM organizes annual function where awards
are given to the meritorious students who have
toped in academics, seminar and other
activities which have taken place during the
year.
GUEST LECTURES
Management education is blending the
reality of corporate world and management
thought studied through the curriculum. The
corporate gurus address the students to
initiate them into the emergent mantras of the
management world. AIM conducts the guest
lectures so that the students can enhance the
