Analysis of questionnaireThe analysis is of ideas for my music magazine. I put the questionnaire out to 20 people, boys and girls.

The majority of the people who answered the questionnaire were female. 8 out of the 20 people were female.

There is a 50/50 response on what name the 20 people prefer. I am going to choose beat up to date, because it is catchy and links well with the magazine.

I can clearly see that the colour most liked is light blue. This will therefore be my main colour used on the front cover and throughout the magazine. The most liked colour was purple, so I will add this colour as well.

The price that most people said they would be willing to pay was £1.50- £2.00. This is a reasonable price, so my magazine will be around this price region.

The results were close, but more people voted for a male on the front cover. I will put a male on the front cover then.

More people went for the option of having more than person on the front cover. This means i will put a band or one main person then someone on the side.

The responses show that 84% of the people voting want to see a symmetrical layout. On the front cover I will design a symmetrical layout.

Overall I can see that the candidates chose 3-4 columns on the content page. I will do 4 columns, because this will then be symmetrical.

95% of the candidates voted for having more pictures on the front cover than writing, this is the majority of people. I will therefore put more pictures on the front cover or make the pictures large, covering up a larger space.

These are a number of responses from the candidates explaining what they would like to see in the contents page regularly. Some of the responses were musicians, subscription option, new music, up and coming music and artists, bands and club listings along with reviews.
