The Q masthead has its own unique font and is in the top left corner. The positioning statement is just above the masthead in a smaller font.
The Masthead
On this front cover the main cover line is a much bigger font than the others however still a smaller font than the masthead. The cover lines are down each side of the front cover creating almost a border for the main image. They all share a similar colour sticking to the colour scheme of the cover.
Cover lines and Sublines
The main image is a medium close up shot of the feature artist in the magazine. The photograph has direct address with the audience as the feature artist looks at the camera. The main image covers the whole of the front cover and non of the writing goes over the face.
Main Image
The barcode is in the bottom left corner and has the price, the issue number and the website on it.
