Masthead – The typography is very bold and simple. This is attractive to those who are looking for direct answers to their questions, for example school students.

Main image – There’s a plant growing out of a tree that is the center of attention. The plant could imply growth or a new start to the school year.

Issue number

Coverlines – they are suggesting what can be found inside the school magazine before the audience even opens the first page. What can be really useful for the audience is the top ten universities. This is because most sixthformers work hard to get into the best universities. Also, time management is an important aspect of school life.

Price

Subheading – letting the reader know what category the magazine belongs to. In this case, its education.

The in-house of this magazine is the black & white background with a vibrant main image, masthead and coverlines.

Main image – this is the bigger image out of the two which suggests that it may be one of the main articles inside the magazine. The title of the top story is probably a colloquialism.

Contents – the layout of what is inside the magazine is in order of the page numbers. This means that the magazine is really easy to follow for the target audience.

Another article within the magazine. This the core part of what is inside as it was also mentioned on the cover page.The typography

used throughout the magazine is sans serif. It highlights the simplicity of reading the magazine.
