The colour scheme used in this double page spread is Black, White with a hint of Blue and Red. The black text on the white background follow the classical style of a newspaper article which is familiar to everyone. The hint of Red and Blue come from the photo of the artist which makes the stand out. This keeps the article looking sophisticated and interesting with colour.

The artists name, Lana Del Rey, is at the top of the page in a larger text but it doesn’t stand out boldly from the page. This suggests that the reader is supposed to recognise the artist by the photo and that this magazine has a specific audience within a specific music genre.

There are four black and white individual photos of the rest of the band, who are also holding bones.

The fonts on this double page are small, simple and in black so it stands out from the white background so its easy to read.

The first page of the spread is a mid shot photo of the lead singer, Yannis Philippakis, of the featured band, Foals. He is holding bones which is a continued theme seeing as the other four members are holding bones too. All the images are direct and emotive. None of the band are smiling suggesting that this is a serious about their music.

The font used for this title looks modern which contrasts well against the rest of the text and the black and white photo. The title is spread across the middle of the double page.

The text colour changes on the second page from black to red to make it more interesting and easier to read against the black and white image.

The second page of the article has a mid close up shot of artist, Jake Bugg, performing. The close up allows you to see the concentration on his music in his face. This portrays someone who is serious about their about their work.

The colour scheme used in this double page spread is Black, White and Red. The black and white give the article an old fashioned feel that is associated with newspapers. The red in the text is bold standing out from the monochrome page.
